Munich caters for almost all sports. The local GAA club always welcomes new talent with both mens and ladies teams active throughout the summer months. The local GAA club has also been featured in the local Bayern Television. There are many local soccer clubs and one that is dominated by the irish. Rugby is also an up and comming sport in Germany and the German national team is now playing in the Europa league (Six Nations 2nd division) . The local Irish pubs shown GAA, Rugby and International Soccer so you can participate as a spectator while enjoying the company of fellow fans.

In the Autum and Spring, Hiking is also a populat pastime. Get on your boots and rucksack and take to the mountains. In winter why not try your hand at skiing or snowbording in the Alps or cross country skiing locally when snow permits. There are many opportunities available to get there.
